Highest flood risk:
- Vapkina Street;
- Primorska Street;
- Otaman Holovaty Street and Chornomorsky Kozatstvo Street;
- and other areas indicated on the map.
Safety rules
The mayor urged residents to follow certain safety rules:
- avoid staying in basements and semi-basements during heavy rains;
- close access to underground parking in buildings with housing cooperatives;
- be ready for evacuation at the request of rescuers;
- if there is a risk of flooding, leave the house in advance or contact local authorities;
- avoid low-lying areas and open spaces during rain.
In addition, the elimination of the consequences of the disaster in Odesa is ongoing. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba held a meeting with local authorities, where significant destruction in the city was confirmed. Currently, over 800 damaged houses have been recorded.
