How Pharmacy 911 Integrated HURMA’s ATS to Streamline Recruitment
One of Ukraine’s largest pharmacy networks, Pharmacy 911, has adopted the HURMA applicant tracking system (ATS) to automate its hiring workflows. Before this change, recruiters managed job openings manually using spreadsheets, which led to inefficiencies and significant delays. After automating, the chain closed four times more vacancies, cut routine administrative tasks by 43%, and reduced reporting time from half a day to just a few minutes.
Olha Kukhtina, Manager of Personnel Development and HR Projects at Pharmacy 9-1-1, explained that previously each team member kept their own Excel records, making it impossible to get an accurate overview of all open positions.
“Everyone had their own stats. There was no reliable company-wide view of vacancies. We couldn’t track how many roles were open or how they were being managed over time.”- Olha Kukhtina.
Key Benefits of Automating Recruitment Processes
The HURMA rollout took four months and included integration with Ringostat, multi-posting to job boards, and a connection to Google Data / Looker Studio. Before the full launch, Kukhtina tested the system on 20 job openings to evaluate its usability and performance.
“A company that wants to grow can’t rely on manual spreadsheets and reports. It’s inefficient, time-consuming, and error-prone. Automation eliminates those mistakes.”- Olha Kukhtina.
With HURMA, the pharmacy chain now stores all candidate information in a single platform.
“We can see where the problem areas are, which vacancies have been open too long, and then focus our efforts and make objective decisions.”
- Olha Kukhtina. She also praised the real-time analytics for enabling fairer hiring choices and gave HURMA’s support team a perfect score of 10 out of 10.Automating recruitment has become essential amid a talent shortage in the pharmaceutical sector.
“The shortage of qualified staff has grown. Many employers are competing for the same people, so we have to process candidates quickly and engage with them effectively.”
- Olha Kukhtina. For Pharmacy 911, adopting HURMA was a critical step that cut down on repetitive work, shortened reporting time, and significantly boosted recruitment efficiency.Implementing an ATS like HURMA is increasingly important in modern HR management, especially in a fast-changing labor market. It helps companies stay competitive and maintain high-quality hiring even when skilled professionals are scarce. For Pharmacy 911, automating recruitment has freed up the team to focus on strategic priorities and improved overall productivity—a model that other organizations aiming to optimize their operations can follow.
As companies increasingly turn to automation, the impact on efficiency becomes evident. For instance, the Olena Zelenska Foundation significantly reduced data collection time, showcasing how streamlined processes can enhance productivity and decision-making. Such advancements not only improve internal workflows but also allow organizations to focus on their core missions.
