Meta представляє нового штучного інтелектуального помічника для авторів на Facebook та розширює можливості перекладу у Reels.

Meta Introduces a Personal AI Assistant for Content Creators

Meta has announced the launch of a personal AI assistant designed specifically for Facebook content creators, aimed at streamlining their workflows and boosting post performance. Initially, this AI feature is being rolled out to a select group of creators in the United States, Canada, and India. Company founder Mark Zuckerberg described it as a

“personal AI for everyday tasks”
.

Key Capabilities of the New Assistant

The assistant comes equipped with several practical features. It can:

  • suggest the best times to publish and highlight trending topics within the audience's discussions;
  • track changes in follower demographics and recommend strategies to increase reach;
  • monitor current cultural events and popular audio tracks, generating ready-made ideas for new posts.

Beyond launching the AI assistant, Meta has also expanded its automatic translation capabilities for Reels videos by adding support for new languages. Specifically, Arabic, French, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian have been added to the list of supported languages. However, Ukrainian is not yet included among the languages available for Reels translation. Notably, over 500 million Facebook users watch AI-translated videos each week.

A standout feature of this technology is its ability to preserve the creator's original voice and intonation during dubbing. The developers have also implemented a lip-sync function, which automatically adjusts the blogger's facial movements to match the audio track in another language. Earlier, Meta released a standalone AI app that competes with ChatGPT, further underscoring the growing role of artificial intelligence in the content space.

The launch of Meta's personal AI assistant marks a significant step forward in technologies that automate content creation processes. This could fundamentally change how creators engage with their audiences, allowing them to focus more on the creative aspects of their work. As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly integrated into various fields, it is important to monitor its impact on social media and the broader content industry.

As Meta continues to enhance its offerings for content creators, the company is also refining its internal processes. Recently, it revamped its employee monitoring program to better support AI training initiatives. This move aligns with the broader strategy of leveraging artificial intelligence to improve both creator experiences and operational efficiency.
