The President of Ukraine on Russian Strikes

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on Russian strikes against Ukraine in his evening address, as reported by 'Glaсk.com'.

According to the head of state, Russian drones struck in Dnipro, while repairs are ongoing in Chernihiv after an attack on a substation. 'In the east of the country – Kharkiv, Dnipro, Sumy, Chernihiv – there are constant air threats. Kharkiv has been attacked. In Chernihiv, a substation was damaged, and repairs are underway. In Sumy, Russian troops killed an entire family – a woman, a man, and two children – four and seven years old, with the girl being pregnant. This was a strike by a Russian drone,' said the president.

Zelensky assured that Ukraine would respond to Russia's strikes and Ukrainian defenders would continue to attack Russian logistics and fuel infrastructure.

'We will destroy Russian logistics and fuel infrastructure, everything that supports the Russian war. The world knows: only Russia is preventing the war from ending. We are receiving signals from the USA and other partners about the need to pressure Russia to begin real diplomatic negotiations and achieve peace. Without strong pressure from the international community, Russian aggression will not cease; on the contrary, it will intensify,' he added.

It was also reported that Russian troops attacked Dnipro using drones, leading to injuries and fatalities. In addition, Russian occupation forces struck a residential building in the village of Chernechchyna in Sumy region, resulting in the death of an entire family.

Summary: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concerns over the continuation of Russian strikes on Ukrainian territories, stating that all possible efforts are being made to defend the country. He emphasized the need for pressure on Russia to stop its aggression and to begin peace negotiations.
