On June 10, Mykola Davydiuk took the oath as a member of the Ukrainian parliament and officially became part of the Holos faction. He fills the seat vacated by Volodymyr Tsabal, whose term was cut short by parliament on May 27 following his personal resignation request.
Background and Career Path
Born on July 18, 1988, in the village of Perespa in the Volyn region, Davydiuk studied Spanish language and foreign literature at the National Pedagogical University named after Drahomanov. Since 2011, he has served as director of the analytical center Polityka. He is also the founder of the Forum of New Political Leaders.
In 2014, Davydiuk attempted to run for the 8th convocation of the Verkhovna Rada under the Radical Party of Oleh Lyashko but was unsuccessful, placing 43rd on the list of non-party candidates. Between 2014 and 2019, he worked as an unpaid aide to lawmaker Ihor Popov in the same parliamentary convocation. In 2018, he completed a training program at the Harvard Kennedy School.
Davydiuk is active on social media, where he shares personal reflections. He once posted:
