Project 'Job Without Barriers'
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine is implementing the 'Job Without Barriers' project, aimed at simplifying access to the labor market for people with disabilities, veterans, youth without work experience, and internally displaced persons (IDPs). In 2025, many representatives of these groups used the services of the State Employment Service (SES), particularly for employment purposes.
From January 1 to December 29, 2025, 96.9 thousand internally displaced persons sought assistance from the SES, out of which 42.3 thousand were employed. Among them:
- 15.7 thousand found jobs with compensation for employer expenses.
- 17.9 thousand veterans and people from vulnerable population groups (UGA) utilized SES services, of which 3.9 thousand found jobs.
Throughout the year, over 4 thousand veterans, people with disabilities, and UGAs underwent vocational training at SES education centers. Among people with disabilities, 38.3 thousand sought assistance, of which 9.7 thousand were employed. In particular:
- 2.4 thousand people with disabilities found jobs through employer support programs.
- 220 individuals with Group I disabilities obtained jobs, for which 183 million hryvnias were allocated.
Under the project, employers submitted 509 applications to train 1,000 women in non-traditional fields, of which 713 women successfully completed their training. The 'Job Without Barriers' project actively promotes the creation of equal opportunities for various social groups, facilitating their integration into the labor market.
The 'Job Without Barriers' project is an important step towards ensuring equal opportunities for people with disabilities, veterans, and other vulnerable population groups in Ukraine.
Its implementation not only allows for the employment of these people but also enhances their qualifications through vocational training, ultimately contributing to reducing social isolation and improving the economic situation in the country. The successful implementation of this project can serve as an example for other initiatives aimed at integrating vulnerable groups into society.
