Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that the enemy has once again attacked peaceful cities in Ukraine, targeting residential buildings, schools, and other important infrastructure. Their aim is to cause more casualties among civilians and inflict greater damage.
Today, the enemy's shelling affected Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Ternopil regions. Over five hundred rescuers and more than a hundred units of special equipment are stationed at 9 active frontline sections. Currently, Ternopil has been the hardest hit.
As of 10:00: 10 dead; 37 injured (including 12 children). Rescuers continue to evacuate people, assisting those trapped under the rubble. Every moment is crucial in this process.
The head of the State Emergency Service, Andriy Danyk, is personally coordinating the aftermath response in Ternopil, providing reports to the country's leadership. Aviation, mobile rescue operational response centers, specialized unit “Delta,” dog handlers, as well as heavy engineering equipment are being called for assistance. Support has also been provided by forces from neighboring regions. Psychologists have been assigned to the sites to assist the victims if needed.
Resilience Points have been established, mobile kitchens are providing hot meals to the residents. Police have recorded evidence of war crimes against civilians. Tents have been set up for the affected, where they can file claims and receive assistance.
The situation in the western part of the country remains very tense. The government is doing everything possible to ensure safety and provide assistance to those affected by the aggression from Russia.
