The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klymenko spoke about the work of mobile service centers in frontline cities over the past two weeks.
During trips to Kherson and Kharkiv regions, it was observed that due to constant shelling, locals find it difficult to reach service centers and the migration service. Therefore, it was decided that mobile units of these services would actively work directly in the communities, responding to the needs of the population while adhering to safety regulations.
Main results of the work of these centers:
- In the specified regions, 64 driver's licenses were issued or exchanged, 75 vehicles were re-registered, 13 vehicles damaged by Russian fire were destroyed, more than a hundred applications for various documents were processed, and passports were issued to 34 individuals.
- Services continue to operate even under the challenging conditions of shelling and constant risk. The schedule of the Migration Service and service center groups is planned jointly with the heads of territorial communities for the upcoming month.
As a result of the work of mobile centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the migration service, access to necessary services for residents of frontline cities has been significantly eased, despite the challenging conditions of the war in the east of the country.
