Today, July 7, DOT-Chain Defence - a new digital system that simplifies the supply process of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine - began operations. This new marketplace is created for the rapid provision of the front with necessary resources. This is reported by the 'Glavkom' portal referring to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As part of the pilot launch of the system, 10 brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already participated, for which the Ministry of Defense allocated one billion hryvnias through the Defense Procurement Agency. With the help of the IT system of the State Rear Operator, the brigades will be able to order FPV drones, and later - other types of drones, electronic warfare equipment, robotic complexes.
How the system works:
- The military themselves choose, order, and reserve what they need, see delivery times, leave feedback, and receive quick responses.
- Manufacturers clearly see the cooperation mechanism with the state and the army, as well as receive feedback from the military.
- The state can more accurately determine the needs of the front, make decisions based on data, support the development of the defense industry, and implement innovations.
The Ministry of Defense added: 'We are developing a new model for supplying weapons to our defenders - flexible, transparent, and fast.'
It is also important to note that the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been replenished with the advanced R-34-T unmanned aerial vehicle, which can perform laser guidance. This drone is allowed for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine after successfully passing all tests.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces received a new digital system DOT-Chain Defence, which eased the process of supplying weapons for the army. This allows for faster and more efficient provision of troops with the necessary resources, which is an important step in improving the country's defense capability.
