The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine and the international organization Habitat for Humanity in Ukraine have decided to join efforts to provide housing for internally displaced persons. Real estate that is currently vacant can be used to create housing for these individuals. Collaboration with Habitat for Humanity will allow for the effective use of existing resources and the expansion of the housing stock.
As part of the joint project, there will be an identification, assessment, and classification of thousands of real estate objects, investment cases will be prepared, and tools for local authorities will be created. Data collected during the project will be used to provide housing assistance in a transparent manner. The conclusion will be a national seminar for partners with a presentation of results and potential investment.
