The Ministry of Justice is suing the District Administrative Court of Kyiv to ban the activities of the political party 'Shariy Party'.
The Ministry requests the court to obtain conclusions from experts, which are mentioned in the letter to the ministry dated March 4, 2021, regarding the illegal activities of the Shariy Party and to ban its activities, according to the publication INKORR.com
The court decided to consider the case under the rules of simplified lawsuit proceedings with a call to the parties.
The court hearing in the case is scheduled for April 6, 2021.
It is noted that almost all signatures on the protocol regarding the renaming of the Shariy Party are not authentic.
Later, the Security Service reported that it had provided the Ministry of Justice with the requested materials regarding the violations of legislation discovered during the registration of the 'Shariy Party', as well as about the illegal actions of its leader.

Reference: Anatoly Shariy is a former journalist who fled Ukraine in 2012 and was granted political asylum in Lithuania.
Shariy's rhetoric is often described as pro-Russian and pro-Kremlin, for which he feels offended and even sues.
In the summer of 2019, while abroad, Shariy announced the creation of a political party and named it 'Shariy Party'. The new structure immediately aimed to compete for seats in the Verkhovna Rada. The Central Election Commission initially registered Shariy as a candidate for deputy, but later canceled the registration since he has not been residing in Ukraine since 2012.
Currently, supporters of the fugitive blogger are preparing for the local elections, which will take place in the fall. The party's ratings, especially in the south and east of the country, are noticeably increasing.
At the same time, there are many questions about the funding of the Shariy Party. The blogger and his wife did not submit declarations regarding their assets during last year's parliamentary campaign. The sources of income of the politicians remain unknown.
