Grant program to support enterprises
The International Organization for Migration has launched a grant program to support micro and small enterprises affected by the war in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy regions. This initiative aims to contribute to the recovery of the economy in regions that have been most affected by the conflict.
Funding and conditions
The program is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany and is part of the project 'Viability+: economic integration of internally displaced persons and war-affected individuals.' The maximum grant size for microenterprises is up to 7,000 euros, while small enterprises can receive up to 20,000 euros. These funds will aid in the recovery of businesses and the creation of new jobs.
Applications for participation in the program are open until January 31, 2026, or until funds are fully exhausted. Requirements for participants include:
- business registration;
- proof of ownership;
- location in the specified regions;
- commitment to create jobs.
This program is an important step in supporting economic stability for businesses that have suffered losses due to the war.
The introduction of this grant program provides an opportunity for micro and small enterprises that find themselves in difficult conditions due to the war to receive financial support for recovery. The significance of this initiative lies in the fact that it not only helps businesses to recover but also stimulates the creation of new jobs, which is critically important for economic stability in the affected regions. It also underscores international support for Ukraine in its recovery efforts after the conflict.
