Bukovina discusses mental health during the war: how the community learns to support

A meeting took place in Novoselytsia, Bukovina, where the issue of mental health during the war was discussed. Participants talked about fatigue, stress, and anxiety that accompany people under the conditions of war.



People from various fields - from medicine to social services and community representatives - gathered to learn how to better support themselves and each other. It was noted that mental health is as important as physical health, and prolonged stress can negatively impact a person's condition.



"We become stronger when we do not stay alone with our emotions and when we support each other," emphasized the meeting participants.


The meeting participants also stressed the importance of reaching out for support if needed and noted that the community has already done a lot to provide assistance to those who need it most.



The meeting in Novoselytsia underscored the importance of supporting mental health in the conditions of war. Participants discussed stress, anxiety, and fatigue affecting people and agreed that it is essential to support each other and seek help when necessary.
