In Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, on the night of October 12, the Russian army destroyed the local lyceum, reported the city mayor Halyna Minayeva.
“Lyceum No. 2, which was built for us by the state and was supposed to be ready by the end of the year, has been damaged the most,” noted the city mayor.
The repair cost of the lyceum amounted to almost 200 million UAH according to data from “Prozorro”. The repair began at the expense of the regional budget in 2023 in accordance with the regional recovery and development program. The tender for the repair was won by the company LLC “Promtex”, which received a contract for 235 million UAH. Later, the customer signed an additional agreement with a price reduction.
The repair cost was reduced to 180 million UAH; however, the company was still ordered additional work for 14 million UAH, which raised the total repair cost to over 194 million UAH. Also, a contract was signed in the Старосалтівська village council for the construction of a shelter on the territory of the lyceum for 145.21 million UAH.
The city mayor reported the destruction of the lyceum in Chuhuiv by the Russian army, which resulted in significant material damage. The repair of the lyceum has already started using funds from the local budget and under a contract with LLC “Promtex.”
