Gunshots were heard in northern Kosovo near a KFOR patrol (NATO mission)
Local Serbs in the settlement of Zubin Potok have set up roadblocks, reports Reuters citing a statement from international forces led by NATO responsible for maintaining stability in Kosovo.

Gunfire was opened near the military alliance patrol, no one was injured. KFOR did not specify who was firing.
The Serbian portal Politika reports that the fire was allegedly opened by Albanian special forces attempting to dismantle the barricades near Zubin Potok.
On December 10, a new escalation began in northern Kosovo involving Serbs. They set up barricades on the region's roads after the Kosovo police detained a former Serbian-origin law enforcer.
On December 11, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti urged the NATO mission in Kosovo to remove all barricades as they violate the right to free movement.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that Kosovo intends to try to 'solve the Serbian problem' and accused 'part of the international community' of inaction while also calling for calm among Kosovo Serbs and Albanians.
