In the Lyman direction, the enemy has amassed a large number of troops and is pressuring, but the situation is still moving. This was stated by Maksym Bilousov, a communicator of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade, during a television marathon.
According to the military, there have been no enemy mechanized assaults in this direction for the past month. As soon as enemy equipment appears, Ukrainian defenders immediately neutralize it.
Instead, the Russians are actively using infantry for attacks. Assault troops move in small groups, protected by anti-thermal cloaks. However, Ukrainian military personnel point out the oddity - the occupiers use these cloaks during the day when they can easily be spotted from the air.
'This is a strange tactic. It is either poor training of the soldiers, or they do not understand how the anti-drone cloak works. Maybe they think it's like in Hogwarts with the invisibility cloak. You put it on - and you're invisible,' Maksym Bilousov noted.
The military explained that although a thermal imager cannot see such a fighter, it does not mean that they cannot be noticed by ordinary cameras. 'Such a black rectangle screams back and forth. Of course, they are spotted and eliminated immediately,' Bilousov added.
The Russian forces in the Lyman direction are using ineffective tactics that allow Ukrainian defenders to easily detect and eliminate enemy units. The Ukrainian side continues to control the situation and defend its positions in this direction.
