Today, October 7, a memorial plaque for former Speaker of the Parliament Andriy Parubiy was unveiled in Lviv. Yefremov Street - the site of the tragic incident where a member of parliament was killed.

The opening ceremony was attended by witnesses - Andriy Parubiy's daughter and father, as well as local residents and church representatives.
Details of the investigation and court proceedings
According to information from 'Your City,' the plaque was made in collaboration with Parubiy's family. The design of the plaque was developed by the city architecture department, and it was installed before the 40th day after the death of the politician and Hero of Ukraine.
As a result of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that on August 30, Parubiy received fatal injuries as a result of gunfire. The suspect in the crime, Mykhailo Stselnykov, is currently in custody and may face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment.
The suspect in the murder admitted to the act and expressed a desire to be exchanged for a prisoner in Russia, claiming that it was his revenge against the Ukrainian authorities. The Security Service collected evidence of treason from the suspect in the murder of politician Parubiy.
