On the eve of the large-scale attack by the enemy, the night from December 13 to 14 was the harshest for Odesa. The city was affected by shelling aimed at energy facilities, trying to destroy the city's infrastructure and deepen the cold and darkness. Four local residents were injured as a result of these attacks, according to the reports of the head of the Odesa city military administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Destruction was recorded in residential buildings, including the historical center of the city, which was affected the most. Most areas of the city are currently without electricity, hot water, and heating.

It is assumed that Russian armed forces fired about 300 projectiles, including kamikaze drones, 'Kalibr' missiles, 'Iskander-K' and 'Iskander-M', KH-23, hypersonic 'Kinzhal' missiles, and possibly 'Onyx' missiles.

The main targets were energy, port, gas, industrial, and civilian facilities. In many areas of Odesa and the region, electricity supply has been disrupted, leading to serious problems with water supply and heating.

As a result of the shelling in the Odesa region, train schedules have changed, several routes have been interrupted, and passengers can use alternative routes. Explosions have damaged residential buildings, and the provision of hot water and heating has been disrupted in many areas.
