The Russians launched the most massive strike on Odesa: the region is completely without electricity

On the night of December 13, Russian troops launched one of the most massive strikes on the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region since the beginning of the war. The attack is ongoing, reports 'Glavcom'.



According to preliminary information, as a result of the strike, the entire territory of the region was left without electricity, communication, and access to the Internet. Serious damage has also been reported at least 10 electrical substations, a fire at one of them, and an attack on the gas infrastructure.



The consequences of the attack are felt in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions


Partially, electricity supply was cut off in the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. Additional power outages have been recorded in the Mykolaiv region, where emergency shutdowns have been introduced.



Local residents report the absence of electricity in most settlements, the halt of public transport, and problems with mobile communication and the Internet.




At the time of publication, official sources had not yet confirmed the exact number of damaged facilities and the scale of destruction. Comments from representatives of government bodies or energy companies have not yet been received.

It should be noted that on the same night, Russian troops attacked Dnipro and this region, continuing their aggressive activities.
