Clashes in Tbilisi: 27 injured in protests after elections

According to the Information of the Ministry of Health of Georgia, clashes in Tbilisi near the Orbeliani presidential palace resulted in injuries to at least 27 people. Six protesters and 21 law enforcement officers were hospitalized, and about 30 others received assistance on the spot.



During the clashes, the police used water cannons and tear gas to disperse the crowd after attempts to break through the fence of the presidential palace. The media recorded the storming of the fence and the subsequent dispersal of the protesters, during which individuals were detained. The exact number of detainees is currently unknown.



As a result of the clashes near the presidential residence in Tbilisi, dozens of people were injured, and the incident caused tension in Georgian society.
