Massive Attack on Kyiv
During the night of July 11, a large-scale assault on Kyiv led to disruptions in public transportation services. Tram line No. 8 has been temporarily suspended. To maintain passenger flow, a new bus route No. 8T has been introduced, connecting Poznyaky metro station with Yaltynska Street. Trams on line No. 25 continue to operate as far as Boryspilska metro station.
Trolleybus No. 27 now runs from Pochaina metro station to the Industrial overpass. Bus routes No. 2 and No. 25 also serve Novopolova Street. The attack, marked by explosions and air raid sirens, resulted in reported impacts and fires in the Solomyanskyi, Darnytskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts of the city.
