Financial support for Ukraine's energy resilience

Norway has announced a new financial contribution of $400 million to support Ukraine's energy resilience. This decision follows a meeting between Ukraine's Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and Norway's Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. The Ukrainian government continues its international efforts to support the energy system, seeking to attract new resources for the restoration and strengthening of energy infrastructure.

Norway's plans for the future

Additionally, Norway plans to allocate $8.3 billion in 2026 under the Nansen program. It is worth noting that Norway is a key donor to the Energy Support Fund for Ukraine.

Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that 'Norway is one of the key donors of the Energy Support Fund and a strategic partner of Ukraine in the energy sector.'

She also added that 'systematic international support is a key element of restoring energy and economic resilience in Ukraine.'

This news indicates the continuation of close cooperation between Ukraine and Norway in the energy sector, as well as the commitment of international partners to support Ukraine in difficult times. Support from Norway, as one of the key donors, could significantly impact the restoration of Ukraine's energy infrastructure, especially as the country faces challenges related to energy security and recovery from the conflict.
