For institutions that have switched to the new mechanism, the unified tariff scale is replaced by a basic amount and a coefficient depending on the qualification category. According to the publication, the coefficients range from 0.48 for a specialist without a category to 0.52 for a specialist of the highest category.

Will all teachers receive new salaries in October?
The transition to the new system did not happen automatically for all institutions. The Ministry of Education explains that for institutions funded by local budgets, the decision to transition must be made by the local government bodies. If there is no such decision, salaries will continue to be calculated according to the unified tariff scale, with the increase effective from January 1, 2026.
