A new low-cost carrier Fly2Galicia will appear in Europe, which plans to open eight routes from Spain starting in December 2026. Destinations will include Prague, Milan, Venice, Brussels, and Munich, with the cheapest international tickets costing around €40 one way. This is reported by Visit Ukraine.

Where Fly2Galicia will fly from December 1, 2026

The base airport for the new carrier will be Santiago-Rosalía de Castro in Santiago de Compostela in the northwest of Spain. The first flight to Zaragoza is scheduled for December 1, with the rest of the destinations opening during that same week.

Overall, Fly2Galicia announced 17 flights per week across eight destinations. Three of them will be domestic, while another five will connect Galicia with other countries in Europe:

  • Alicante, Spain;

  • Granada, Spain;

  • Zaragoza, Spain;

  • Brussels, Belgium;

  • Prague, Czech Republic;

  • Munich, Germany;

  • Venice, Italy;

  • Milan, Italy.

Ticket sales are already open. Meanwhile, at the initial stage, Fly2Galicia will not use its own aircraft. Flights will be operated by another European airline, the name of which has not yet been announced.

How much Fly2Galicia tickets cost to Prague and other cities

One of the cheapest international options is the flight from Milan to Santiago de Compostela, with prices starting from €41 one way.

The minimum prices for other routes are as follows:

  • Brussels - Santiago de Compostela - from €51;

  • Prague - Santiago de Compostela - from €51;

  • Venice - Santiago de Compostela - from €51;

  • Munich - Santiago de Compostela - from €71.

During the first announcement, Fly2Galicia mentioned even lower fares: starting from €19 on domestic routes within Spain, from €39 for Milan and Brussels, and from €49 for Prague, Venice, and Munich.

The actual cost will depend on the specific date and the number of seats available at the minimum fare. Therefore, the stated price of €40 does not mean that all tickets on international routes will be sold at that price.

Why the new low-cost carrier chose Santiago de Compostela

Fly2Galicia is banking on Galicia and the passenger flow of Santiago de Compostela. The city is the endpoint of the famous pilgrimage route Camino de Santiago and one of the main tourist centers in the northwest of Spain.

The launch of the carrier will give the region direct flights to several major European cities. In particular, the new route to Prague will create direct air connections between Galicia and the Czech Republic.

Passengers should check not only the final price before booking but also the fare conditions and the actual carrier. The latter should be specified in the booking documents, even if the ticket is sold under the Fly2Galicia brand.
