Kyiv Traffic Restrictions
On April 28, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, traffic will be partially restricted on Honore de Balzac Street in the Desnyanskyi District. The asphalt concrete pavement repair is being carried out by workers from the Desnyanskyi District Road Maintenance Department (SHEU). The construction zone spans from Kashtanova Street to building No. 8 on Honore de Balzac Street. Please note that the work schedule may be adjusted if weather conditions worsen.
Additionally, until 7:00 PM on April 27, 2026, traffic on the Pivdennyi (Southern) Bridge in Kyiv was partially restricted. Repairs there were performed by employees of the Kyivavtoshlyakhmist municipal enterprise, with the work area covering the route from the right to the left bank of the Dnipro River. During this period, vehicles were directed to use the middle lane.
Overpass Near the Chernihivska Metro Station
Another restriction involves the overpass near the Chernihivska metro station. From April 25, 2026, until November 30, 2026, both vehicular and pedestrian traffic will be completely blocked. As a result, changes will be made to public transportation services.

These planned traffic restrictions in Kyiv are necessary for repairing road surfaces and infrastructure, which is crucial for ensuring the safety and comfort of drivers and pedestrians. While such work may cause temporary inconvenience for residents and commuters, it is essential for improving overall road conditions. Public transport routes will also be adjusted, potentially affecting daily travel for city dwellers.
