According to Главком: Road repairs will lead to partial traffic restrictions on Khreshchatyk Street in Kyiv on April 3rd and 4th. The work, focusing on emergency pavement repairs in the Shevchenkivskyi district, will require lane closures in both directions. According to Kyivavtodor, the city's road service, the restrictions will be in effect from 10:00 PM on April 3rd until 6:00 AM on April 4th, and again from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on April 4th. Khreshchatyk is the city's main thoroughfare, so drivers should expect significant delays.

Other Ongoing Traffic Restrictions

Additional traffic restrictions are currently in place across the city:

• Until April 30th, partial traffic restrictions in both directions will be in effect on the overpass connecting Novokostiantynivska Street, Oleny Telihy Street, and Stepan Bandera Avenue.
• Until May 15th, traffic is partially restricted on Brovarskiy Avenue due to the reconstruction of the overpass at the intersection with Budivelnykiv Street.

The work on Brovarskiy Avenue will take place on the section from the McDonald's restaurant (Brovarskiy Avenue, 27) to Heorhiia Narbuta Avenue. Authorities have noted that adverse weather conditions could lead to changes or postponements of the work schedules. These restrictions are part of planned infrastructure improvements aimed at enhancing Kyiv's road network. Drivers and pedestrians are advised to plan alternative routes and allow extra travel time, as these projects will impact daily commutes.

In addition to the upcoming roadworks on Khreshchatyk Street, the city's public transport system is also experiencing adjustments.
