Kharkiv Region Under Fire
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces launched attacks on Kharkiv and 11 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. The shelling killed two people and injured 13, including four children. The deceased were men aged 48 and 76. In Kharkiv city, ten people were wounded, among them a six-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. In the village of Staryi Saltiv, two girls aged 11 and 13 experienced acute stress reactions. In Bohodukhiv, a 62-year-old man was injured in the bombardment.
Medical teams treated two men, aged 35 and 61, who had been wounded on June 16 during an attack on the village of Kurylivka. While clearing debris from the June 19 assault in Kharkiv, rescue workers discovered fragments of a man’s body. According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the regional military administration, Kharkiv and 11 other communities in the region came under enemy fire over the past day.
Strikes and Destruction
The attacks on Kharkiv and the region involved seven guided aerial bombs, five Geran-2 drones, six Molniya drones, five FPV drones, and 18 drones of an unidentified type. The strikes targeted the Kyivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of Kharkiv. In the city, one car, eight apartment buildings, and a warehouse were damaged. In the Bohodukhiv district, a private house, two outbuildings, two gas stations, and two vehicles were hit.
Additionally, private homes in the Kupiansk, Lozova, Chuhuiv, and Izium districts sustained damage. In Derhachi, a warehouse was damaged, and in the Lozova district, a civilian enterprise was struck. The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 225 people over the past day. Since its opening, 41,222 individuals have passed through this facility.
