Ukrainian refugees in Germany rated their lives at 6.3 points: survey results

Результати опитування показали, що українці в Німеччині оцінили свої умови життя на 6,3 бали.

Ukrainian refugees who arrived in Germany do not feel as happy as one might expect. Their average life rating is 6.3 out of ten, which is slightly lower than that of migrants from other Eastern European countries.

Experts claim that this low rating may be due to the fact that Ukrainians have gone through a difficult period of war and were forced to leave their country due to conflict. However, an important trend is emerging: over time, Ukrainians begin to feel more satisfied with life in Germany, possibly due to learning the German language and successfully integrating into local society.

''Those Ukrainians who are in Germany without their partners or completely alone are the least satisfied with their lives. Meanwhile, those who have small children, who speak German well and live in private housing, express a higher level of satisfaction,'' - emphasized the specialists.

In the large country of Germany, Ukrainian refugees are gradually starting to change their lives, familiarizing themselves with new conditions and circumstances and searching for their place in contemporary society.
