Natural Gas Rates for Residential Consumers
Suppliers have released their pricing for July. While annual fixed-rate plans remain unchanged, monthly variable offers have dropped compared to June. The market currently features eight companies: four offer only annual contracts, and the remaining four provide both yearly and monthly options.
Annual gas plans range from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter, while monthly rates vary between 8.46 and 27.99 UAH per cubic meter. For households, annual tariffs serve as the default option. Customers can voluntarily switch to monthly pricing, but companies are prohibited from moving clients from annual to monthly plans without their consent.
Gas Market Overview
Approximately 98% of residential consumers—over 12 million households—are served by Naftogaz of Ukraine. The company's fixed tariff stands at 7.96 UAH per cubic meter and remains in effect until April 30, 2027.
These tariff adjustments could influence consumer choices, as the reduction in monthly rates makes them more appealing to those who prefer not to commit to long-term contracts. Nevertheless, the majority of households stick with annual plans, ensuring stable gas costs through 2027.
The gas market remains a key concern for consumers, as energy prices can fluctuate based on global economic trends and domestic policy decisions.
