Social Benefits in Ukraine: Update as of July 16, 2023
As of July 16, 2023, Ukraine has financed social payments totaling 62.7 billion UAH. Specifically, 49.3 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, with 8.2 billion UAH distributed through Ukrposhta JSC and 41.1 billion UAH via authorized banks.
Additionally, 1.3 billion UAH was directed toward housing subsidies and benefits, while 2.4 billion UAH went to insurance payments—1.1 billion UAH of which covered sick leave. Another 9.7 billion UAH funded social assistance and other payouts. During July, the Pension Fund of Ukraine provided 763,500 services to individuals seeking support.
