A shocking incident occurred in Swindon, Great Britain, where 12-year-old Oliver Wood was hospitalized after consuming over 50 pieces of caffeinated gum. His mother, Anne-Marie Willis, noted that the boy complained of a racing heartbeat and severe chest pain, prompting her to call for an ambulance.

The boy bought Furocity gum, which is advertised by the famous British boxer Tyson Fury. The packaging of this product contains an excessive amount of caffeine, which far exceeds the daily allowance for children. Oliver ingested an extremely large dose of caffeine, equivalent to about 20 cups of coffee.

After treatment, Oliver's condition stabilized, and he was discharged home. However, this episode served as a harsh reminder for parents and authorities about the need to regulate the sale of such products. The child's mother calls for stricter regulations and mandatory warnings to prevent similar situations in the future.
