From October 1, the Pension Fund of Ukraine conducted another automatic recalculation of payments for working pensioners. An allowance will be received by those who have worked for at least 24 months of insurance experience after pension appointment. This is reported by Vchasy.
Is it necessary to submit an application for recalculation of pension for working pensioners
The recalculation procedure does not require contacting the PFU authorities - the system independently considers additional experience and income if they affect the amount of payments. This means that pensioners do not need to submit an application or visit the administration.
If two years have passed since the last increase, but the insurance experience is less than 24 months, the pension will also increase - but only due to additional experience, without considering the new salary.
Who will not receive a pension increase
The increase will not be received by those who:
- did not work after retirement;
- have a pension for length of service but have not yet reached the age of 60;
- did not accumulate the necessary insurance experience after the pension was appointed.
According to the Pension Fund, in October, more than 600 thousand Ukrainians will receive updated payments. The average amount of the allowance ranges from 200 to 800 hryvnias depending on the duration of the additional experience and the level of wages.
Such recalculations are carried out annually to take into account the labor activities of pensioners who remain in the labor market. This stimulates official employment and provides a fairer size of pension payments.
