During my working trip to the Zaporizhia region, I held a meeting with the military command. The main focus was on the operational situation in the south, tasks for brigades and regiments, as well as military and personnel measures to stabilize the situation in the Rivnopillia area. The fortification of the Stepnohirskiy direction and the evacuation of civilians from certain areas were also discussed. A separate topic was the problem of air defense of roads, logistics, and critical infrastructure in Zaporizhia. Subsequently, a report on the operational situation in the Pokrovskyi area was presented.
Meeting with Warriors
During the meeting with the warriors of the 17th Army Corps, I expressed my gratitude for their service and dedication to Ukraine by presenting state awards. Eastern Ukraine is a real challenge, especially in the Orikhiv direction, where it has always been very difficult. I expressed my gratitude to all soldiers, officers, and sergeants for defending this direction, the Zaporizhia region as a whole, and the city of Zaporizhia, which is of great importance. Their defense keeps the city alive, and I express my sincere thanks for this.
