Russia has intensified strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, changing its tactics and focusing on individual facilities in regions instead of massive attacks across the entire energy system. This was stated by the head of the board of 'Ukrenergo', Vitaliy Zaichenko, at a meeting with ambassadors of the G7 countries.

Zaichenko reported that most substations are already equipped with protective structures that have proven effective during shelling. At the same time, work is ongoing, and the company continues to finance it through grants and loans. 'We are grateful for the assistance we have already received, but today continued support is needed not just for 'Ukrenergo', but for the entire Ukrainian energy sector,' emphasized the head of the company.
