The Polish government indicates that it plans to implement restrictions on the visa-free regime for countries whose citizens violate Polish laws. The specific list of countries remains a mystery, but among the possible subjects of restrictions could be Georgia, Armenia, Venezuela, and Colombia.

'We are likely to submit an application under the Schengen Agreement requesting to revoke the visa-free regime for several countries,' noted Deputy Head of the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs Czeslaw Mroczek.

An example of such restrictions could be Colombia, where citizens of that country are already required to obtain work visas to enter Poland due to a high-profile case involving a Colombian spy linked to arson.

The Polish authorities have also decided to complicate the process of obtaining Polish citizenship for foreigners, extending the duration to 10 years of residence in the country before passport issuance.

In light of concerns about the actions of foreign agents in the country, Poland is making such decisions to ensure national security and prevent similar incidents in the future.
