The economic effect of migration: forecast until 2030
The study debunks the widespread myth of the “burden of refugees”. The presence of Ukrainians did not cause an increase in unemployment among Poles. On the contrary, in regions with a high concentration of Ukrainian workers, an increase in productivity and wages has been recorded.
Analysts predict that by 2030, the contribution of Ukrainians may stabilize at around 3.2% of Poland's annual GDP.
Thus, the Ukrainian community has become one of the important factors in the economic development of the neighboring state.
