Funding of the Pension Fund of Ukraine for August
As of August 31, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has completed the financing of pension, social, insurance payments, as well as housing subsidies and benefits. In August, 1,228.7 thousand services were provided to individuals who applied to the fund's authorities. Funding for September payments is scheduled to begin on September 1.
Funding Amounts
In particular, the following has been financed:
- pension payments amounting to 75.8 billion UAH,
- housing subsidies and benefits – 1.5 billion UAH,
- insurance payments – 3.2 billion UAH (including payment for sick leave in the amount of 1.8 billion UAH),
- social assistance and other payments totaling 11.2 billion UAH.
The completion of payment financing by the Pension Fund is crucial for ensuring the stability of social guarantees for the population. The planned resumption of funding from September 1 indicates the timeliness of support for those in need of social assistance, especially in the face of economic challenges. This also emphasizes the importance of effective management of state social programs to support vulnerable segments of the population.
In light of the significant funding allocated in August, it is worth noting that in July, the Pension Fund also provided substantial support to Ukrainians, with over 90 billion UAH distributed.
