Russia attacked energy facilities in three regions: what are the consequences

On the night of October 11 to 12, enemy forces continued to attack Ukraine's energy and gas infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, energy facilities in three regions of the country - Donetsk, Odesa, and Chernihiv - were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. Rescuers and energy workers are ensuring the stabilization of electricity supply, working at the scenes of the incidents.

The attacks also affected the residents of Chuhuiv and Novhorod-Siverskyi. The Russian army struck a gas station in Novhorod-Siverskyi in Chernihiv region using a strike drone, as well as strikes on an educational institution in Chuhuiv caused significant destruction. A fire also broke out in a hypermarket in Donetsk, which is temporarily controlled by militants. The authorities thank the energy workers and rescuers for their tireless efforts.

This news underscores the serious threat to Ukraine's energy and gas infrastructure due to systematic attacks by enemy forces on the country's facilities. The infrastructure and lives of the civilian population are under threat, indicating the need to strengthen security and protection measures.
