Air Strike on Kyiv on November 25

On November 25, Russian occupiers launched an air strike on Kyiv, leading to destruction in residential buildings, fatalities, and injuries. As a result of the attack, several residential buildings were hit, causing fires and significant material damage.

Consequences of the Attack

In particular, there was a hit on a 22-story residential building in the Pechersk district at levels 4-5, where damages were recorded on those floors and also on the 7th floor. In the Dnipro district, a 9-story residential building was affected, with destruction and fire occurring on the 6th-7th floors. As a result of the shelling, one person was killed, five were injured, and 17 people, including three children, were rescued. The fire was localized.

A hit was also recorded on a two-story building without a fire, and in the Darnytskyi district, debris fell on open territory in the private sector. The situation in Kyiv remains tense due to these events.

This shelling is part of the ongoing aggression by Russia against Ukraine that has been ongoing since 2014, and it highlights the increasing risks to the civilian population in the context of the conflict. The strike on residential buildings underscores the seriousness of the situation and the necessity to protect civilians in combat zones, as well as the efforts of the international community to ensure the safety of the population. Given the current military situation, similar incidents may become commonplace, causing concern among the residents of the capital and other regions of Ukraine.
