Ukraine is preparing agreements that will strengthen our defense capabilities.
This will provide Ukraine with greater operational capabilities, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in a video address on Wednesday, according to Gazeta.ua.
Air defense and drone defense will be strengthened, the head of state said.
'I held a meeting of the Staff today. We discussed, among other things, the protection of the sky. We are constantly strengthening our air defense and drone defense. We are doing everything to obtain more modern and more powerful systems for Ukraine,' Zelensky stated.

Additionally, no one will turn a blind eye to any attempts to reduce international pressure on the aggressor state, the Russian Federation, the president said.
'We are also not reducing our activity to create a special tribunal for Russian aggression and to hold all those responsible accountable. Today, I called on our friends in Europe and members of the European Parliament to increase efforts so that the tribunal eventually operates. The terrorist state must answer for every burned Ukrainian city, for every destroyed life of our people. And it will answer,' Zelensky stated.
On December 12, the president spoke with the leaders of the G7 countries. The G7 leaders stated that they would support Ukraine and increase economic pressure on the aggressor state, the Russian Federation.
This week, the United Kingdom announced a new military aid package for Ukraine.
Today, Zelensky thanked the air defense forces that shot down enemy drones.
