Forced Evacuation in Synelnykove District
Due to a worsening security situation, authorities have launched a mandatory evacuation of families with children across 23 localities in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. These settlements fall within three communities: Shakhtarska, Dubovykivska, and Bohynivska. The evacuation campaign is scheduled to last one month and affects approximately 3,800 children.
In addition, planned evacuations of adult residents are ongoing in seven other communities within the same district. In Nikopol district, all families with children have already successfully left the villages of Novokyivka, Illinka, and Vyshchetarasivka. In Marhanets, a full evacuation of all residents is underway from one of the city's most dangerous streets. In Nikopol city, efforts continue to relocate nearly 100 local inhabitants to safer regions.
Mandatory Child Evacuation and Support Measures
Separately, a compulsory evacuation of children has been declared in the settlement of Komyshuvakha, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Residents there have 30 days from the issuance of the order to comply. Meanwhile, in Donetsk Oblast, the mandatory evacuation zone for families with children has been expanded within the Kramatorsk community.
Evacuees are being processed through transit centers, where they receive financial, legal, psychological, and medical assistance, along with food and hygiene kits. Staff also help with document restoration. Oleksandr Ganzha noted that these centers facilitate the onward resettlement of displaced individuals.
This situation underscores the severity of the security crisis in the region, where the population faces an ongoing threat.

The forced evacuation, especially of children, highlights the urgent need for measures to protect civilians and ensure their safety. Authorities are actively organizing support for evacuees, providing essential resources and assistance in adapting to new conditions. The scale of the evacuation and the involvement of multiple communities underscore the magnitude of the challenge facing residents in dangerous zones.
In light of the ongoing security challenges, authorities have also initiated a mandatory evacuation of children in the Zaporizhzhia region.
