The Ukrainian car market showed unexpected activity in autumn. In September 2025, more than 6.8 thousand new passenger cars were registered, which is 20% more than in the previous year. This also slightly exceeds August's result, reports Minfin.
Growth of the Chinese Brand BYD
For comparison, traditional leaders Toyota and Volkswagen lagged behind, selling 828 and 733 cars respectively. VW also achieved a separate record — the electric car ID.Unyx became the best-selling model of September, topping the ranking for the first time.
This time, the leader in sales was the Chinese brand BYD, which showed explosive growth five times more than last year at the same time, having sold 989 cars.
