Psychological Support for Kyiv's Residents
Since the start of January, psychologists from Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs have provided support to more than 28,000 residents of Kyiv. This essential service is offered daily at designated 'Points of Invincibility' and in field tents, where police and State Emergency Service (SES) psychologists are stationed. This initiative highlights the ongoing mental health challenges faced by civilians during the prolonged conflict.
Supporting people through difficult times is a core part of our responsibility to citizens. I thank every psychologist within the Ministry of Internal Affairs system for their professionalism and humanity. We continue to ensure safety on all levels! Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
The specialists provide consultations, conduct training sessions, and employ practical calming techniques to help individuals manage emotional stress during these challenging times.
