During a meeting with military command, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin expressed the opinion on the necessity of creating a 'security zone along the border with Ukraine'. This information is reported by 'Glavkom' citing TASS.

Putin also announced the intention to create a 'security zone along the border with Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the 'North' grouping'. Some Russian sources interpret this statement as an attempt by the Kremlin to gain control over the border areas of Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions of Ukraine, which adjoin Russia.

Although Russian troops continue aggressive actions in eastern Ukraine, this does not mean that Russia will necessarily capture the rest of Donbas. Statements of this nature are included in a study by the Institute for the Study of War.

Analysts emphasize that the Kremlin spreads a false narrative of Russia's inevitable victory, demanding that Ukraine and the West immediately respond to its demands.

Recently, Russian troops have been actively using poor weather conditions, such as fog and rain, to launch attacks across the entire frontline, particularly in various directions. This information is contained in an analysis by the Institute for the Study of War.

The recent company-sized assault in the Novopavlivka area indicates an attempt by Russia to exploit the weakness of the Ukrainian defense - the inability of Ukrainian drones to operate effectively in adverse weather conditions.

Putin expressed the opinion of creating a 'security zone' along the border with Ukraine, while other sources claim that Russia is actively disseminating a false narrative about victory in the conflict, as well as using weather conditions to carry out attacks on Ukrainian positions.
