Russia Attacked Coal Mine: How It Will Affect Power Outage Schedules

On the night of December 12, Russian drones shelled a state-owned coal mine for six hours. According to Deputy Minister of Energy Roman Andarak, around 18 hits were made, resulting in a fire and injuries to two workers. The fire was extinguished by emergency services.



The Minister of Energy stated: 'The government is making decisions regarding the optimization of energy consumption to free up additional volumes of electricity. Consultations are ongoing with frontline regions regarding the provision of critical infrastructure with backup power sources.'



It should also be noted that on the same night, Russian troops attacked Odesa and Pavlohrad using drones, causing damage and fires at energy and civilian infrastructure sites, as well as human casualties.



Summary: Russian drones shelled the coal mine, causing injuries and a fire, while Russian troops conducted attacks on other cities, damaging energy and civilian infrastructure.
