Ukrainian employers must submit documents by December 1, 2025, for organizing mandatory medical examinations of employees for the year 2026. The new Order No. 1393, approved by the Ministry of Health, expands the list of employees subject to medical examinations, establishes updated forms of documents, and rules for cooperation with regulatory authorities. However, it remains unclear whether these new rules have already come into force.
According to the new requirements, employees working in harmful or hazardous conditions, in positions with special requirements, individuals under 21 years old, as well as employees with continuous work schedules and night shifts, are included in mandatory medical examinations. After the lists are approved by the State Labor Service, employers need to quickly and correctly inform employees about the results of the examinations and conclude contracts with medical institutions for further medical examinations.
