Russia attacked Sumy with drones: there are casualties among civilians

On the night of October 31, the Russian occupation army launched an attack on Sumy using drones, resulting in civilian casualties. This was reported by the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grygorov.


According to Grygorov, the attackers targeted drones at civilian infrastructure in the Kovalivsky district, having conducted five strikes already. Preliminary reports are being established on the number of civilian casualties.


“Emergency services are involved. The consequences are being assessed taking into account security threats. The attack is ongoing. Stay in shelters,” emphasized Grygorov.

Previously, according to Acting Sumy Mayor Artem Kobzar, Russian attackers also launched a drone attack on a gas station in the city of Sumy. As a result of this incident, four people were injured.


These attacks were yet another in a series of hostile actions, during which the Russian terrorist army conducts strikes on targets in Ukraine, harming the civilian population and infrastructure.
