Russia attacked Chernihiv region with drones: 17 thousand consumers without electricity

On the night of October 18, Russian troops launched a drone attack on Ukraine, resulting in damage to an energy facility in the Chernihiv region. According to information from 'Chernihivoblenergo' on Telegram, over 17 thousand consumers were left without electricity as a result of this attack.


Energy workers are already working to restore electricity supply to the affected areas following the drone attack by Russian forces. In total, that night Russian troops launched 164 drones and three missiles in Ukraine, but the Ukrainian air defense shot down 136 enemy drones over various regions of the country.

Additionally, 27 strike drones were recorded in 12 settlements and debris threats in four other locations.
