Russia carries out hybrid attacks on Western European countries
In connection with the summit of the European Political Community in Copenhagen, Denmark has banned civilian drone flights in its airspace due to noticeable activity of unknown drones near military facilities.
Unknown drones have been spotted over the main military base Karup, as well as over Copenhagen airports and several other settlements in Denmark.
Experts note that GPS signal disruptions, particularly over the Baltic Sea, are part of the hybrid warfare that Russia is waging against Western countries. Such actions hinder both aviation and navigation systems of vessels.
Response of Western European countries to RF provocations
Western European countries are enhancing their security strategies by bolstering military capabilities and directing efforts to counter Russia's hybrid attacks. For instance, Denmark is supplying fighter jets to Ukraine and developing its own drones.
European leaders are looking for ways to respond to Russian provocations without escalating tensions while ensuring that attacks do not go unanswered.
Additionally, countries are discussing possible steps to take in accordance with the pan-European strategy given the new methods of RF aggression.
Ukraine and Europe act together
The West is revising its strategy in light of the threats posed by Russian provocations and aggressive actions. Plans include creating new security systems and responding to hybrid attacks, particularly by integrating new technologies and countering drones.
Recent events are pushing European countries towards unity and cooperation in ensuring security on the continent.
This cooperation is becoming significant in the West's strategy and requires appropriate measures to protect Europe from hostile actions and provocations.
During the European Political Community summit, Denmark took security measures due to suspicions of hybrid attacks from RF. Western European countries are strengthening their defensive capabilities and responding to provocations, seeking ways to preserve peace without increasing tension. Ukraine and Europe are jointly implementing new security strategies to counter RF aggression and hybrid threats.
