The situation at the front

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported a critical situation at the front, noting that Russia has deployed more than 710 thousand troops along the front line. According to him, Russian forces are losing between 1000 to 1100 soldiers daily, indicating significant losses in the ranks of the aggressor.

Syrsky emphasized that Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold the territory and strike the enemy. He noted:

'There are no pauses, no delays in their operations. They continue to advance their troops forward to capture as much of our territory as possible under the cover of negotiations.' - Oleksandr Syrsky

Strategy of the Ukrainian military

The Commander-in-Chief also focused on the strategy of the Ukrainian military, which aims at maximizing the exhaustion of the Russian army, preventing its advance, and holding the territory. He stated:

'Our strategy is to maximize the exhaustion of the Russian army, prevent its advance, hold our territory, while also striking at the enemy in close rear, in operational depth, and deep within Russia.' - Oleksandr Syrsky

Furthermore, he stressed the importance of diplomacy, stating that Ukrainian soldiers will not lay down their arms if diplomatic efforts fail. 'A just peace means stopping hostilities along the current front line,' he added. Syrsky expressed hope that European partners and allies would be ready to provide the necessary support in the fight against the aggressor if needed.

This statement from the Commander-in-Chief highlights the tension in the situation at the front and emphasizes the importance of support from Ukraine's international partners. In the face of high losses on both sides, Ukraine's strategic position remains stable due to the active actions of its armed forces. Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts play a key role in finding a peaceful resolution to the conflict, emphasizing the need for continued negotiations at the international level.
